The 4th of July...

Our 4th was pretty much the same as every year. Usually my parents come every year and we do a little BBQ her at the house but this year they went to the car races and Gabe and I went to some BBQ's.
Happy 4TH of JULY!!!!!!!

We got a visit from Sherri Whom we have not seen in a couple of years. She was a lot of fun to hang out with. We shared a couple cocktails and than headed to Holly's for the BBQ. Gabe took the kids for a little bit to the block party and Parker did the Limbo contest. Unfortunately he did not take a camera. I didn't have mine either for the BBQ.

Beth and DC were having a BBQ also so Parker,Sherri and Gabe went there for about an hour and a half while Ava and I napped at home. Once they got back we went back over to Holly's were we rallied up all the guests and walked over to the beach to watch The Queen Mary Firework show from the Beach. I was trying to get some good shots but I just kept getting blur..even with the firework mode on my camera turned on....

Issac was lighting some little fountains he had on the beach.

Parker is picking up a lot of Gabe's Habits in regards to wearing no shirts. This was after his sparkler went out..(by the way Sparklers don't even sparkle anymore..all they do is shoot out a flame...LAME)

We had a large group at the beach. Ava only got scared once when some on let off a illegal firework that zoomed in the sky really loud. I think she enjoyed them though afterwards.

Cafe Bleu Reunion 2009

The Cafe Bleu Reunion was so much fun last night. They had some awesome Old Pix's and Videos from back in the day. There was tons of photos of Amy and my cousin Amber (whom both were not there) and tons of myself too. Some REALLY cool photos. I saw SOME old faces but there was quite a bit that I did not see. All in all it was such a fun time dancing to old brit pop and 60's and Soul. The drinks were pretty cheap. I had to order Cape Cods all night just like I used to. There was a few people I saw that I did not get photos of such as Piper,Shalice,and Scarlett..I will see them again soo though..here are some of the faces I saw

There was a crowd in the Club Underground thing upstairs,A crowd outside for the HTDJ's outside and Downstairs was the CAFE BLEU thing..this is a shot of the CAFE Bleu room.

I always remember when Vic would dance he was infamous for the clapping of the hands and the finger pointing! Which he did both last night.

The night went quickly. A bunch of peeps went to an after party but we just wanted to get home to our kids. We waved everyone goodbye though as the continued to party the night away...I hope to see more people the next one!

Make Over Time

Tonight Gabe and I are going to the Cafe Bleu Reunion. Cafe Bleu was the Brit Pop Mod club I used to go to religiously ever Thursday night back in my early early 20's. I knew everyone there and made some great friendships that still exists today. There was a lot of great people I knew from the club that moved or stopped coming around that are all coming out for the club tonight.

Last night Ally and Toni were over and we were drinking beers and than Gabe came home and Popped in an old 99 Mod Mayday video and other parties and rallies and I was like Damn I miss my old bob back then..Than I got to thinking why not get it back..well I made the hair appointment ..but first before my big night out reunion I went a little shopping.......

I went a little crazy at the M.A.C. Counter and bought almost 200.00 worth of Make Up
And then it was off for some hair chopping...here are the side profiles because I had no make up on and I looked at my photos and they were too dreadful for me to post face out so you guys get the side view until I post up pictures from the reunion tomorrow on here!

I have to say...why did I not do this earlier I love it soooooo much..now to lose 40 lbs and I will be set!!

Dance Dance Dance

I have been hooked on watching this seasons So you think you can dance. Once thing I have always had a passion for was DANCING! My dad put me in dance school when I was a little girl. I did Jazz and Ballet. I wish I could have much further with dance but money was tight for my family so I did not stay in it for long. Anyway I been researching dance classes for Ava and it looks like I can get her started right away once she is walking. In gymboree they do a lot of song and dance exercises that help develop the concept of dance which I adore...I am eager to get her going!!
As for Parker I am going to the Equestrian center to sign him for Horse Riding lessons. Parker's friend Alec upstairs is going to be taking lessons so me and his mom were trying to get it scheduled that the boys can take one lesson after the other. Which is great cause than I would have someone to take him to lessons while I am work. I am thinking however I may sign him up for Saturdays or Sundays cause I really want to watch him ride.

I can't wait to see both my kids taking up new hobbies!

Shoe Gal in Training

I could not resist these cute shoes I found at the Children's place for Ava. I had to get them. Baby Wedge heel shoes..too cute!! I think she liked them too. She is definitely going to be a shoe girl. When I first put them on her she played with her toes a little bit.

Well let's take another look at the new wedge heel shoes and debate.....The Leopard print slippers with the felt rose is pretty appealing as well..... It's so hard to choose just one shoe
