Parker's 9th Birthday Party

We had Parker's bday party at Boomer's this past Monday. We thought it would be a good day to have it since all the kids were out of school this past Monday for President's day.

Parker's Party started at 12 noon so we got there a little early to set up the table with goody bags for the kids. There was a sign with Parker's name on it with balloons so I took his picture there before all the guests arrived.
While we waited for the pizzas to come out we gave the kids a bunch of tokens each to go and play some arcade games. Parker got a lot of tickets
Time to eat! all the kids got their own personal pizzas to eat.
It was great that everyone we invited but 2 showed up.
The kids eating
Time for cake. It was a big hit. They all surrounded it and were very excited.
The bakery did a great job of it too.
Singing Happy Birthday
After cake it was time to open presents. Parker got some great gifts too. He loved everything he got.
After we were done inside with presents and cake we handed all the kids wristbands to go on the rides outside. Of course Bumper Boats were first on the list.
all the kids in his party got the whole bumper boats to themselves
After they got off they were all soaking wet! We lined them all up to take photos.
Then it was on to more rides. These are Parker's best friends in his classroom at school. It was cute seeing his little crew at the party and all the boys hanging out. They had so much fun.
Ava rode with Grandpa on the Choo choo..it was the only thing she could go on.
Ferris wheel time! I swear this is the fastest Ferris wheel I have ever seen..I would never go on it. I was getting nervous just watching the kids on it. All the parents were yelling out Stop rocking the Carts!!!!
after rides we all went over to play mini golf. They tried to give us score cards but we were like forget about it..just let them have fun. The rule was each gets 3 turns then it was off to the next course.
They had a lot of fun but soon all of them were getting grumpy.
They liked the courses with the windmills and little houses on them.
My brother and his girlfriend were entertaining themselves crossing the little rivers.
When golfing was over we went into another arcade cause Parker had a few tokens left so he played some racing games and then it was time to go home.
I forget how great and really inexpensive it is to have a party here at Boomer's. Everyone had a blast.

WOW, they did a great job on that cake! I cab't believe it's been 9 years since that infamous night of Gabe trying to run out and smoke moments before you push out a 9lb baby!! Time flys!
