Vegas Vacation-Saturday-Lots of PIX!!

Saturday morning Vickie had to take a flight back home so it was a day of just me and the boys (Gabe and Josh). We walked out to the Golden Gate parking lot where all the scooterist were hanging out and mingled for awhile but we only really had one mission in Mind and that was to EAT! We met up with Drew and he decided to come with us to breakfast so this is the start to a very long day...

At the Golden Gate they had a few Old slots about.

Interesting Bike on display at the rally. We went outside to go grab a cab to the peppermill since we knew we were most likely going to have cocktails in the lounge.

Gabe and I always make it a mission to stop at the Peppermill for breakfast when in Vegas.

After we ate we decided to hang out in the sunken lounge by the water pit fire

Here we are thinking it could not get worse and each video was more terrible then the next

I ordered a Cherry Bomb before we hit the cab over to the Bowling Alley to meet up with Loryn and Dana.

We bowled 2 games and had more drinks. It was fun. The bowling did pep me up for a bit but SOON I was going to need a nap!

By the time we were done bowling and hailed a cab back to our room it was Dusk already.

We went back to our room and took a two hour nap before getting up and getting dressed up for the evenings event. We met up with Drew and Dana downstairs and decided to have dinner at a Teppen-yaki restaurant inside the golden Nugget called Lillies. First however we stopped at the Grotto for a glass of Vino.

We walked over to Lillies and were seated right at the Hibachi grill.

I ordered the NY strip steak and it came with soup, grilled veggies and fried rice.

Gabe had a combo of Scallops,Lobster and Filet Mignon.

The soup tasted great. It was light and savory.

The food was so fresh..How have I never been to a Teppenyaki style restaurant before?? I gotta find a benihana around here.

Loryn and Michael met us at the restaurant and before leaving to the night event we stopped at our room to have a cocktail. Here is Josh messing with Burns.

Crazy Guys

The place where the show was at was so awesome. It was at The Plaza in the Copa Room and usually they have a Rat Pack show going on there but tonight was OUR night. The Inciters performed. They were great I thought. Last time I seen them was Mod's Mayday 1999!

Inside the club we saw a bunch of friends that we have not seen in awhile..Lots of mingling!

After mingling for awhile one of my old friends from the Quad show I worked with happen to be in Vegas at the same time so we met her outside and hung out with her and her new Fiance.

We hung out for awhile at the Golden Nugget for a drink then I just could not even think anymore so we said our good byes and Gabe and I were off back to bed. it was probably the best sleep I got all weekend!

Vegas Vacation- Friday

Friday morning we got up around 9:30 and Vickie and I got ready for our spa appointment which was technically at 11:30 but we got thereat 11 so we could take advantage of the steam room and other amenities. The spa was gorgeous!! We met up with Loryn and Toni there.
First thing we did was go directly in the steam room. They had a bucket of Ice towels and cold cucumber slices so we laid for about 20 minutes in the steam. It felt so good. We then went into the lounge and relax on the plush furniture,warm fluffy robes, and had some refreshments that were offered to us. Soon I was called in for my relaxation massage which was wonderful! After I got out I was handed a bottle of cold water and sent back to the lounge where I was soon called into the next room for my facial. It was also very relaxing. The room was candle lit, I was laid down in a warm bed while the steam was put on my face and the old ragged skin was slouched away. After I had my facial I was immediately taken to the manicurist whom did a wonderful job on my nails.

When all of us girls were done we decided (since our men were out on a scooter ride at the hofbrau house view rally photos here) to hang out by The Tank(pool) and have a cocktail.
It was so hard to get a shot with the sharks in the tank.

It was a nice day with sunny weather.

I was so relaxed. After lounging Vickie and I went to a cafe top order some food to take up to our room. Shortly after we got there and I ate Gabe called to tell me they just got back from the Hoffbrau and they were all hanging out in the parking lot and to come join them.

We had to pick up our rally packs but the line was HUGE!!! Good thing I pre registered!

We hung outside while old Soul and Mod music was blaring in the parking lot and people had cocktails and beer in hand and cracking jokes and taking pictures. I mingled and spoke to a lot of friends and made new friends.

While hanging out we heard a big Thump and saw these two taxi's had collided. Thought I would take a picture.

I think this was Holly's 3rd or 4th Adios MF and she was getting bored and was starting to burn things from her rally pack. So we decided to go walk around,play some slots,have more drinks before the night event took place. We ended up skipping dinner cause drinking would suffice for now.

It happened to be Nascar weekend in Vegas as well so when we went to the night event at the Beauty Bar we got caught up in a big Crowd of people rocking out to FogHat that played a free concert on Fremont street. I really wish I could have taken pictures of some of the folks that were out there dancing..pure comedy!

We finally got to the beauty bar and mingled and hung out and socialized. It was a pretty cool place. There was even a gal there doing nails! Gabe had disappeared for awhile and I was getting tired so I headed back to the room to go to sleep.

One last photo of the guys before I head to bed. I got back to the room and completely crashed out...not to shabby of a day I must say.

Vegas Vacation-Thursday Night

We arrived at the Golden Nugget in Vegas Thursday a little after 4pm. Once we brought in our luggage we met up with Drew (our Portland Oregon Friend) downstairs by the Nuggets Tank Bar. Before heading downstairs though we all had to make some drinks to take with us. (the first of MANY) We met some other people there from Arizona that were attending the rally as well.
I have to give props to the Golden Nugget..It is absolutely Beautiful!

After meeting up we went out to Fremont Street to check out the scenery and we headed over to the Golden Gate ( That is where all the Scooter rally peeps were meeting up) to check who was there and grab yet another drink. Vickie and I knew those guys were doing something behind us during the picture!)

After we met up with a few people and discussed what our plans would be for the night we headed back to our hotel room to change. This is the club in the Golden Nugget. I had to stop and take a photo. There was this crazy guy that everyone was telling me to pose with but I refused.

Our plans was to head over to Liberace Piano Bar at Carluccio's Tivoli Gardens and listen to some music and have a few cocktails. Since there was 8 of us we took a Stretch Escalade. It was really cool. Our driver Ken even offered everyone a beer in his ice chest in the trunk for the ride up.

The place was really cool inside. It was full of twinkling lights and there was this twosome playing music in the lounge.

Here is everyone hanging out. Gabe encountered a Ghost in the bathroom. He went to the restroom and was straightening himself up while in the mirror and could here the toilet seat being lifted up and shuffling around in the stall..he looked under the stall and no one was in the restroom but him..when he walked out Josh was looking at ghostly photos of the place and then Gabe said the hair on his arms stood up. We talked to the bartendress and she brought out this book called Weird Las Vegas and there is a story on the Haunted Carluccio's.

The escalade picked us up and we headed back to downtown vegas to check out the Karaoke night scooter event and of course Ken offered beers for the ride back to the hotel. He was in a hurry to get us to the hotel so he can pick up another party and blew a stop sign and got pulled over so there we all sat in the car while our driver was getting a ticket.

After we checked out the show for a bit we were all starving and decided to hit this little cafe inside the golden nugget. What a better way to start curing that hang over then with spicy bloody Mary's before bed?

I ordered the eggs Benedict..and it was everything I could ask for. After we ate Gabe and I were so tired that we went upstairs to go to bed while everyone enjoyed a couple more hours out.

So far it was a fun start to the long but fast weekend.
